15 Minute Series What is Netscape Navigator?

Customizing Netscape

Users can customize the Netscape screen. By changing the "Preferences", users can optimize the Netscape screen for their particular needs. There are many preferences that can be changed, including fonts, colors, toolbar appearance and helper applications.

For example, the default font and font size can be changed to make the screen easier to read. Or, a user can indicate a particular software package for Netscape to launch as a helper application.
